Our Work
Medicinal Mycology Institute develops practical standards for how medicinal mushrooms are grown, prepared, and extracted.
These standards are based on documented practice, existing research, and hands-on observation. They are designed to be realistic for small growers and educators, not dependent on industrial equipment or proprietary processes.
Our focus is consistency, safety, and transparency—so that preparation methods can be understood, repeated, and evaluated without relying on marketing claims.
Standards & Methods
Research & Documentation
Our research work focuses on non-clinical study of cultivation variables, extraction techniques, and preparation methods that influence composition and stability.
This includes comparative testing, documentation of process variables, and collaboration with laboratories when appropriate. We prioritize conservative interpretation of findings and publish results for educational purposes rather than promotion.
Our goal is to separate what is supported, what is uncertain, and what is simply assumed.
Supportive Access Programs
When resources allow, Medicinal Mycology Institute provides limited charitable access to standardized mushroom extracts as part of supportive, non-clinical wellness initiatives.
These programs are educational in nature and are accompanied by clear disclaimers. We do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. Our role is to provide carefully prepared materials and information so individuals and caregivers can make informed decisions alongside healthcare professionals.
Access is prioritized based on need, availability, and program capacity.
