About
Medicinal Mycology Institute

Medicinal Mycology Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to understanding medicinal mushrooms through careful cultivation, preparation, and study.

Our work focuses on developing practical, evidence-informed standards for how medicinal mushrooms are grown and extracted—so growers, educators, and the public can distinguish sound practices from marketing claims. We emphasize safety, transparency, and methods that can be realistically followed outside of industrial or pharmaceutical settings.

In addition to research and education, the Institute provides limited charitable access to standardized mushroom extracts as part of supportive, non-clinical wellness initiatives.

A rustic wooden table holds jars labeled with herbal ingredients, dried mushrooms, and a small bottle of liquid. Dried fungus and mushrooms are scattered on the table, alongside an open notebook with handwritten notes and a pen. A mortar and pestle sit in the background near a window with natural light.
